Gerhard is an Inspector of physical education and sports in the direction of education in Lower Austria (Bildungsdirektion für Niederösterreich) and responsible for all school sports agendas in this country.
He is also member of the training team Pädagogische Hochschule Niederösterreich (department alpine ski and snowboard education for teachers).
