Prof. Siniša Kovač, PhD is a full-time professor of Biomechanics at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education.  He is the President of the B&H Ski Coaches and Instructors Association  (ATUS  B&H) and he organizes and leads ski coach education.


Prof. Kovač participated in all autumn seminars of the International Ski Federation and congresses in Zurich from 2001 to 2008. He was an organizer and lecturer at the “International Seminar for Alpine Skiing Coaches in Southeastern Europe in 2004 and 2009 and has been certified as an international ski instructor by the ISIA since 1987. Prof. Kovač was also a coach and selector of the alpine ski team B&H “A” from 1997 to 2004. He has participated as a coach in the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics, the World Cup and the 1999, 2001 and 2003 World Championships.

Professor Kovač was a Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the scientific conference SPE Balkan Ski in Jahorina Ski Center on March 2018.
